Research
Julia holds an NIHR Three Schools’ Mental Health fellowship under which she is completing a part-time MPhil in Psychology. Her work with electronic healthcare records will provide an account of the epidemiology of mental health needs through the study of referrals. Additionally, she is investigating factors associated with access to CAMHS for children with social work involvement; a topic that also holds importance to primary care as young people who are rejected from CAMHS will have their mental health needs then managed by primary care. She is passionate about working with young people, communities, and other organisations to create healthcare systems and supports that are needed, wanted and equitable.
