Biography
I studied nursing at the the American University of Beirut before moving to Cambridge to pursue an MPhil in Population Health Sciences (Primary Care Specialisation). I completed my dissertation on Muslim communities' perspectives and preferences regarding end-of-life symptom management. Upon graduation, I joined PELiCam as a research assistant to Dr. Ben Bowers. My research focuses on community-based end-of-life care.
I am currently working on a mixed-methods study exploring community nurses’ contribution end-of-life care in the UK, a systematic review of patients’ experiences of home end-of-life care, and a qualitative study on how patients and carers navigate the palliative care system to acquire timely access to injectable symptom control medications in the community.
