Biography
Anica is the Project Coordinator and Community Manager of the Cambridge Sustainable Computing Lab. Projects under the lab include the Green Algorithms Initiative, Green DiSC, and various other initiatives on reducing the environmental impact of scientific computing.
Prior to joining CEU, Anica was a Senior Project Manager and Data Strategy Consultant for a data science consulting firm based in Southeast Asia working on numerous geospatial machine learning projects for social impact and climate action. Her projects ranged from detecting landslides to modelling social vulnerability and mapping aquaculture sites for mangrove restoration. In 2019, Anica completed a Masters of Science in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex, with a dissertation on decolonizing innovation for development.
Anica is also the Green DiSC representative for the Cambridge Sustainable Computing Lab, supporting the dissemination of the programme across the lab and other groups within the CEU.
