Biography
Anica is joining Löic Lannelongue's team for the Green Algorithms Project where she will be managing a number of initiatives on reducing the environmental impact of scientific computing. Prior to joining CEU, Anica was a Senior Project Manager for an AI and data science consulting firm based in the Philippines where she handled geospatial machine learning projects for social impact and climate, such as detecting landslides to model social vulnerability and mapping aquaculture sites for mangrove restoration. With her previous firm, she collaborated with clients from both public and private sectors and filled roles in project management, business development and sales, and operations. In 2019, Anica completed a Masters of Science degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex, with a dissertation on decolonizing innovation for development. She is excited to join CEU and is looking forward to new interdisciplinary collaborations.
