Cassandra is a PhD student from Aotearoa New Zealand. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Otago in Dunedin. After traveling for a couple of years, she decided to pursue further studies and applied for a PhD in Public Health, specifically focusing on socioeconomic adversity and children’s mental health. Her research interests include preventative strategies to improve the well-being of children and young people, and she enjoys working within communities to drive change.
