Biography

Dr Yeosun Yoon is an NIHR Research Associate in the Applied Social Science Group (ASSG) at the University of Cambridge. Before joining Cambridge, Yeosun worked in the University of Bristol on a research project exploring mental health and wellbeing trajectories of children in care in England. She has also previously worked in the Evidence Based Practice Unit (EBPU) based across University College London (UCL) and the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Family, exploring various measures to improve young people’s mental health and wellbeing and preventing serious mental health issues. Yeosun holds a PhD from the University of Kent. Her PhD explored inequalities of labour market and segmentation issues in the UK labour market using longitudinal quantitative methods.

Quantitative research methods to address mental health, wellbeing, education and economic inequalities, particularly in children and young people.
