Biography
Dr Arjun Kingdon is a Consultant in Palliative Medicine working clinically at St Clare Hospice and Princess Alexandra Hospital in west Essex. At the University of Cambridge, he is a Visiting Researcher working with the PELiCam research group (Palliative & End of Life Care in Cambridge) in the Primary Care Unit. His previous work with PELiCam focused on the role of assisted hydration for people near the end of life and how doctors communicate and make decisions about this topic. His current research, funded by the Edward Showler Foundation, will explore multiple perspectives about personalised and person-centred care, looking at the views and experiences of patients, informal caregivers, healthcare professionals and health leaders.
