We are pleased to share that Julia Mannes’ pictured above, research exploring inequality in children’s access to mental health care has been featured in the latest NIHR Impact Report, ‘Learning together to improve mental health research’. Julia’s MPhil research gained national media coverage and caught the attention of the Secretary of State for Health, policymakers and campaigners, finding that children living in poverty or with social work involvement have more than twice the odds of being rejected from NHS mental health services compared to their peers.
