Biography
Tom completed his undergraduate medical degree at King’s College London, then went on to do Foundation training at Bromley and Brighton. He took a year out of training (F3) to work as an Education Fellow at Eastbourne District General Hospital, during which time he completed his PGCert in Medical Education and developed a passion for teaching. Following Core Medical Training in Brighton, Tom now works as a Registrar in Palliative Medicine whilst undertaking research in Medical Education.
Research
Interests within Medical Education include: palliative and end-of-life care, uncertainty, simulation, professional development and transitions, postgraduate training.

Teaching and Supervisions
Tom has designed and facilitated a number of hospital-based teaching sessions and programmes. Currently, he helps facilitate some of the palliative and end-of-life-care teaching sessions for medical students at the University of Cambridge.
