Dr. Marie-Lyne Alcaraz is an accomplished Programme Manager for CRUK Cambridge Centre Women+s cancers programme with a robust scientific background in synthetic organic chemistry. With extensive experience managing multidisciplinary and international projects across academic and industrial settings, she combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise. A Prince2-certified professional, she has a proven track record in delivering complex research programmes, leading high-performing teams, and fostering collaborations between academia, industry, and healthcare sectors. Dr. Alcaraz is also a dedicated advocate for patient involvement in research, currently leading a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) group of over 45 patients from diverse national and international backgrounds. Her leadership ensures that patient perspectives are integrated into research and innovation, enhancing the impact and accessibility of scientific advancements. An author of over 20 publications and patents, she has contributed to groundbreaking work in oncology and drug development. Passionate about innovation and patient-centered research, she continues to drive impactful scientific and operational advancements.
