Biography

I am a PhD student in public health with a background in diagnostic radiography. I began my career as a clinical radiographer before moving into academic roles, including work as a lecturer and research radiographer. These experiences have shaped my interest in the intersection between imaging practice and wider health systems. My PhD in Public Health focused on how radiography can contribute more effectively to population health. I am particularly interested in the potential for imaging services to support earlier detection of disease, improve access to care, and address health inequities. My work aims to explore how radiography might sit more closely within public health approaches, while remaining grounded in clinical practice. I continue to be interested in collaborative and applied research that connects imaging with broader healthcare priorities.
