Miss Sonia Balakrishnan

Sonia is a Research Assistant in Psychology within the Child Health and Development group. Her research focus is on understanding how mental health challenges, contextual adversities and treatments impact children and young people's outcomes with an aim to help inform policy, education and healthcare services to improve support for children and young people and their families. Sonia has core knowledge of developmental psychology, behavioural science and research methods and statistics. Sonia also has experience and skills in co-designing and conducting research projects, performing quantitative analyses and effectively disseminating research.
