Zhixiao is a Research Associate at the Centre for Cancer Genetic Epidemiology, University of Cambridge. His research combines statistical modelling and data science to inform cancer risk stratification and screening policies across different ethnic groups. He completed his DPhil in Statistics at the University of Oxford, where he developed Approximate Bayesian Computation methods and Gaussian Process models for high-dimensional population systems. His broader interests lie in applying modern statistical methods to health data science, particularly in translating methodological advances into practical tools for real-world decision-making in cancer prevention and public health.
