Biography

Victor is a research associate in Health Data Science. His work focusses on dynamical risk and trajectory prediction for diseases. He has worked with a range of techniques including time series analysis with dynamical networks, hierarchical modelling, as well as non-parametric approaches such as Gaussian processes. During his doctorate, he worked on a cardiac inverse problem, an ambulation prediction model for Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients, a ventilator and mortality prediction model for extremely premature infants, and a trajectory analysis framework for Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis hormones. He joined the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit in April 2026 to work with Angela Wood and Samantha Ip on missing data imputation techniques for cancer models in a postdoctoral position funded by CD3: Cancer Data Driven Detection.
