Department of Public Health and Primary Care (PHPC)
Sara is a Public Health Registrar Specialty Trainee and is currently undertaking her academic placement as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Public Health and Primary Care. She is a GMC-licensed medical doctor, having graduated with Honours and an Award for Academic Excellence, and worked as a resident doctor across cardiology, renal medicine, and emergency medicine before specialising in Public Health Medicine. Since then, her public health training has included experience working in local government (local authority) and UK Health Security Agency. She holds a Master’s degree in Population Health Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in Medical Education with Merit from University College London (UCL). She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
