CARE-PC is hosted by the Primary Care Unit (PCU) and works in partnership with the NHS Central East ICB Research Office. The initiative is led by Dr Shobhana Nagraj, who works with a wider team to build academic research capacity in primary care for interested clinicians and non-clinician scientists.
Long-term goal:
To create a sustainable, locally driven research ecosystem where clinicians and researchers help to generate high-quality evidence to improve health outcomes and inform commissioning, policy and practice within primary care.
