Micah has recently completed her Masters in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Wits Business Schools, BHSc Honours in Human Genetics from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a BSc in Physiology from the University of Pretoria.
She joined the Primary Care Unit in 2021 as a Research Assistant for the PAM Trial. This is a low-cost intervention to support patients on hypertension medication in primary care.
Micah has previously worked on various research projects to support treatment adherence for patients with chronic illness, including patients with HIV.
Micah’s research interests are in public health, treatment adherence, and mHealth.
