Isaac is 2 years into his Undergraduate degree in Psychology, at Loughborough University. As part of such degree, Isaac is spending the year on placement working predominantly with the Palliative and End of Life Care research group but also with the Applied Social Sciences research group, before returning to Loughborough for his final year.
Isaac is currently working on several projects. One he is leading involves a thematic analysis of first year medical students with regards to their attitudes and concerns towards professional behaviour in the medical industry. Furthermore, Isaac is currently updating and revising a systematic literature review surrounding access to hospice care, in partnership with Dr. Stephen Barclay and medical librarian Isla Kuhn. This review builds on the work of some previous student interns with the group. Finally, alongside Dr. Richella Ryan and Dr. Barbara Antunes, Isaac is providing support in the processing and analysis of the views of healthcare professionals with regards to anticipatory prescribing at the end of life.
As part of the Palliative and End of Life Care research group, Isaac will be supervised by Dr. Stephen Barclay. On top of this Isaac is also being supervised by Dr. Robbie Duschinsky, group lead of the Applied Social Science Group.
