Background
Laura read Psychology and Computer Science at the University of Konstanz, Germany, where she also completed her PhD in Health Psychology in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, she was a Research Associate at the Chair for Psychological Assessment and Health Psychology (Prof Renner) and studied smartphone-based and choice architecture interventions for health promotion. From March to July 2020, her stay with the Behavioural Science Group (Prof Sutton) was funded by a postdoctoral fellowship from the German Research Foundation. In collaboration with the Behavioural Science Group, Laura is conducting systematic reviews and empirical studies on measurement reactivity in objective digital assessment of health behaviour.
Laura is co-chair of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS) Special Interest Group “Digital Health & Computer-tailoring”, the German National Delegate within the EHPS, Representative of Early Career Researchers of the Subdivision Health Psychology of the German Psychological Association, and Secretary of the Early Career Scientists Group in the German Nutrition Society.
Research Interests
• Mobile interventions for health behaviour change (mHealth)
• Assessment of eating behaviour in laboratory and field settings, including Ecological Momentary Assessment
• Influences of the physical and social environment on health behaviours
