From 2008-2012 Thea studied at University of St Andrews MA(Hons) in Psychology, First Class Supervisor: Dr Sana Sheikh. From 2012 to 2013 Thea went on to University of Cambridge to study MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology Supervisor: Dr Simone Schnall
Thea is a PhD candidate in social psychology under the supervision of Professor Theresa Marteau at the Behavioural and Health Research Institute in the Department of Public Health.
Her research focuses on the relationship between morality and eating behaviours, and the behavioural and emotional consequences of such a link.
