Background
Lucy co-leads the University of Bristol’s Palliative and End of Life Care Research Group. Formerly a teacher, she started medical school in Bristol as a mature student. She is now practicing as a GP in South Gloucestershire, whilst studying for a PhD exploring the communication of poor prognosis between hospital clinicians and GPs.
Research Interests
Lucy is interested in interprofessional communication and coordination of care for people who are approaching the end of life.
