Background
Claudia is an academic clinical fellow (ACF) in General Practice. She graduated from the University of Oxford in 2017 with Distinction. As part of her undergraduate training she also undertook an intercalated BA in Medical Sciences, specialising in Infection and Immunity. Claudia completed her foundation training in Liverpool before starting GP VTS training in Cambridge. Alongside this, she is currently completing an NIHR funded academic clinical fellowship.
Research Interests
Claudia’s main research interests are in molecular diagnostics and their role in primary care. She is part of the Primary Care Unit’s Cancer Group, and is working on a systematic review looking at biomarker development for the detection of gastro-intestinal cancers under the supervision of Dr Fiona Walter.
