Background
Prior to joining the Unit, Dudan obtained a Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine with honors in 2015 and completed her Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Peking University in 2018. Her Master’s study mainly focused on estimating the prevalence of cardiometabolic multimorbidity and exploring the impact on mortality based on the electronic health records of one million participants. She also participated in several other research projects before, including validating well-known CVD risk scores in Chinese population and estimating the prevalence of diabetes in China.
Research Interest
Dudan is a PhD student at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit, working on cardiovascular risk prediction from discovery to application for Chinese people under the supervision of Professor Emanuele Di Angelantonio. Her main research interest lies in cardiovascular disease screening and risk prediction, and big data in healthcare.
