Background
Lois joined the CEU in 2018 as part of the blood donor transplant unit. Previously, she has worked at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the University of Cambridge Primary Care Unit. Lois holds a post-graduate qualification in teaching and learning for higher education, and continues to be involved with distance-learning teaching at LSHTM and is co-module organiser for the Statistics in Epidemiology course. She is a graduate of the University of York (BSc Biochemistry), LSHTM (MSc Medical Statistics) and the University of Cambridge (PhD).
Research Interests
Lois has research interests in areas relating to screening, survival analysis and health economic modelling, and the interaction between these areas. She is currently working in a range of application areas including screening for cardiovascular disease, blood donation and prostate cancer screening.
