University of Cambridge sources
3-year Junior Research Fellowships for those who are completing or have recently completed doctoral study are awarded by Cambridge colleges. They are fixed term awards of college membership, given to early stage academics, typically in the first couple of years after completion of a PhD. They are awarded on the basis of research excellence, are prestigious and highly competitive. Colleges advertise them on their websites so check the sites and apply early (before completing PhD) and apply often ie to as many openings as you can.

ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowships
Each year the Cambridge ESRC DTP invites applications for up to six Postdoctoral Fellowships, to be based within the Cambridge ESRC DTP’s participating departments. Independent Social Research Foundation Early Career Fellowships

Trusts and Foundations
The Branco Weiss Fellowship offers up to five years postdoctoral funding for interdisciplinary research between the social sciences/humanities and STEM/medicine. Researchers who pursue unconventional projects outside the mainstream of science, engineering, and social sciences may apply. Those in current postdoctoral positions are also eligible.
