Title: | Prioritising Research for Atopic Eczema: Economic Considerations |
Project Description: | This research aims to inform prioritisation of research into Atopic Eczema(AE) by applying economic methods of Expected Value of Information analysis. An economic model of AE will be built, informed by current evidence, in order to estimate the expected returns from future research into AE. The project also aims to improve the quality of economic research into AE by conducting research alongside ongoing trials to address methodological issues such as how to measure outcomes for children and how to measure use of prescribed lotions. Both components should improve research and health outcomes by better targeting of limited resources. |
