Dr Jenni Burt’s promotion from Research Associate to Senior Research Associate is, according to Professor Jonathan Mant “a much deserved promotion that reflects her valuable contributions to Health Services Research and the Primary Care Unit”.
Dr Burt said: “My research interests relate to the quality of primary care, with a particular focus on patient evaluations of healthcare, doctor-patient communication, vulnerable populations and inequalities in health care, and long term conditions. I currently manage a five year NIHR funded programme of research on the impact and utility of patient experience measures in primary care. Whilst my work spans the full range of research methods, future plans include the development of more rigorous approaches to qualitative and mixed methods primary care research”.
