Three papers were presented at the European Association for Palliative Care in Copenhagen in May 2015 focussing on patients’ preferences for care, on whether patients can self-identify anxiety and depression and on carers’ psychological health. We also reported on our study recruitment strategies in a workshop on recruitment during the conference and on the impact of caring in a pre-conference international meeting on breathlessness in advanced disease. These presentations generated a lot of interest in the study and our findings.
