End of life care research opportunity for community nurses
Dr Ben Bowers, Prof. Alison Leary, Prof. Stephen Barclay and colleagues at the University of Cambridge and University of Nottingham are researching community nurses’ experiences of providing end-of-life care since the start of the pandemic. The research is funded by the General Nursing Council Trust.
Ben would like to invite two registered nurses, currently working in district nursing services within England, with recent experience of providing end of life care for adults, to join the study’s Public Involvement Steering Group. Early findings will be shared with the Group through two face-to-face meetings in mid-2023 to incorporate perspectives when interpreting the results and planning dissemination. This is a great opportunity to get involved in research for the first time.
