Four Research Groups from the Department of Public Health and Primary care are the First Teams from Cambridge to Receive a Bronze GreenDisc Certification!

This recognises their efforts to reduce the environmental impacts of computational research. Congratulations to these teams based in the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit in DPHPC:

About Green DiSC: Green DiSC is the first open-access certification scheme that provides a roadmap for research groups and institutions who want to tackle the environmental impacts of their computing activities. Launched in 2024, the scheme currently has over 140 groups enrolled from research institutions around the UK, Europe, and Australia. Coincidentally, it is also led by a team in PHPC in collaboration with the Software Sustainability Institute.
