The CanRisk tool has been updated, enabling healthcare professionals to calculate an individual's future risk of developing breast, ovarian and now prostate cancer.
CanRisk calculates breast and ovarian cancer risk using the BOADICEA models and prostate cancer risk using CanRisk-Prostate. These models are based on information entered for the individual, which can include personal risk factors, cancer family history, genetic testing for high- and moderate-risk genes, polygenic scores and mammographic density.
