Trinity College and Harding Programme Matched PhD Studentships with the DPHPC Clinical Gerontology Fund
Two new PhD studentships in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care are available for the start term of MT2026. These are supported by the Trinity Cambridge and the Harding programmes, each with matched funding from the Department’s Clinical Gerontology fund.
PhD projects for these studentships must address aspects of science of ageing within a population health context. Projects may include biological, genetic, cognitive, medical, psychological, social or epidemiological aspects of ageing, including interdisciplinary approaches across these areas. Proposals should ideally demonstrate a clear line-of-sight to clinical or public health impact, advancing the understanding of the determinants, mechanisms or consequences of ageing.
