Lisa is a Clinical Research Fellow and GP. She completed her undergraduate medical training at Cambridge University in 2004, worked in Addenbrooke’s and the Royal London Hospitals and returned to do GP training in the area. Prior to starting at the Unit, she was an Academic Clinical Fellow at the University of East Anglia.
Lisa rejoined the Cardiovascular Group in the Primary Care Unit in April 2015. She is working on the Improving Primary Care after Stroke Programme, a 5 year NIHR sponsored project looking at improving Primary Care services for patients who have had a stroke and their carers, led by Professor Jonathan Mant. She is also working on a qualitative study looking at Self-Rated Health in stroke survivors.
Lisa is a GP trainer and teaches medical students at her practice. She also teaches on the Clinical Communication Skills course for undergraduates.
