David joined CCHSR in May 2017 as a research assistant in health economics. He has previously worked at the Swedish Institute for Health Economics. His research background includes modelling of economic and health outcomes for people with type 2 diabetes, comparing different treatment options. He has also researched the connections between quality of life and complications of type 1 diabetes. David holds a MSc in Economics from Lund University and a Bachelor Degree from Linköping University focused on Public Administration with a major in Economics.
Within CCHSR David primarily works with developing a decision analytic model for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of universal screening in late pregnancy. Other research interests include value of information analysis and economic outcomes modelling.
