Laura studied Medicine at Cardiff University and went on to complete her GP Training in Oxford. She currently works clinically as a GP and in 2017 was appointed a GP CLAHRC Fellow. During her fellowship, she is working with the Health Behaviours Group and is undertaking a systematic review looking at the use of smartphone applications to support medication adherence.

Laura participates in undergraduate teaching of medical students during their Primary Care attachments. She is an examiner for Cambridge University undergraduate examinations.
