Kinnary graduated from King’s College, London. She trained as a GP in Bath, and became closely involved in medical education, both within practice and as a Professional Spine/ Vertical Modules tutor at University College, London. She has worked at a number of General Practices in Bath, Oxford, Brighton and London before settling in Cambridge.
Kinnary is a GP in Cambridge, and is involved in teaching undergraduate students within practice. She is Year Lead for Year 6 of the Cambridge University medical education programme in General Practice within the GP Education Group, which designs, develops and delivers the primary care curriculum to undergraduate student doctors.
Kinnary is also involved in teaching on the integrated Foundations in Medical Education course, and is an examiner for Cambridge undergraduate students. She has developed an interest in research into medical education, and into the intricacies of General Practice as a career choice.
