Becky graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2013 with a degree in Natural Sciences. She joined the Primary Care Unit in September 2015 to work as a Research Assistant looking at timely diagnosis of cancer before moving on to complete an MPhil in Public Health at the University of Cambridge in 2017. Her thesis examined the association between psychosocial factors and lifestyle behaviour change following intervention. Becky is supervised by Prof Simon Griffin and Dr Juliet Usher-Smith for her PhD.
Becky’s PhD research focuses on preventing the development of type II diabetes in women with a history of gestational diabetes.
