I have a BA (Hons) in Modern European Studies (German with Geography), which I followed with a MA in Applied Translation Studies (German to English). I am also a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. I do freelance translation of documents in what spare time I have.
Sophie Wilcock is new to the Changing Behaviour by Design Project, being an experienced administrator and having worked in the NHS (St Mary’s, Addenbrooke’s and Papworth) for 13 years mainly within palliative medicine, cardiac and lung surgery and cancer and more recently on the ProtecT (Prostate Testing for Cancer and Treatment) Study which was a collaboration between Cambridge and Bristol Universities amongst other national centres. Sophie’s roles have ranged from being a Personal Assistant to Administrative Team Leader for medical secretaries and a Directorate Support Manager for Cancer MDTs. She has a keen interest in changing behaviours towards better health.
