Academic Clinical Fellow
Ailsa is an academic clinical fellow (ACF) in General Practice. Ailsa graduated from The University of St Andrews (2007) with an undergraduate degree (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences. Ailsa continued her studies at Manchester University, graduating with a degree in Medicine (2010). Ailsa undertook her foundation training in Edinburgh, then completed a postgraduate degree (MSc) in European Public Health at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands. Ailsa is currently undertaking clinical placements in the Cambridge GP Vocational Training Scheme.
Ailsa’s main research interests are health promotion and health inequalities in non-communicable diseases.
