Mihir completed his Ph.D in Bioinformatics at Nottingham Trent University and is currently working as a Bioinformatician in the genetics group at the CEU.
Research interests/Current works include: (1) Systematic comparison and efficient implementation of different computational methods and bioinformatics tools or developing new algorithms for the analysis of human genetic datasets. (2) Interpreting biological data to understand novel genetic association signals (3) working on the phenome scan tool http://www.phenoscanner.medschl.cam.ac.uk/phenoscanner.
